OnePlus Nord 2 Battery

OnePlus Nord 2 Battery

The OnePlus Nord 2 battery on premium OnePlus devices rarely disappoints. While not as great as in the heyday of this brand just becoming popular, but for today’s standards it is acceptable. Light use is not a problem if 90Hz is always active to receive SOT for up to over 7 hours. Even if the method of using 8 hours of SOT is controlled, there is no problem.

Heavier use will show durability reaching over 5 hours with primer, camera, benchmark test as well as hotspot use. OnePlus Nord 2 also comes with 65W fast charging support from Warp Charge technology that can charge 0% -100% in around 40 minutes only. Their claim of a 15 -minute charge a day I can confirm.

Conclusion

What happened to this OnePlus Nord 2 device was the beginning where Oxygen OS and Color OS started to merge. An Oppo plus may really be a smart move by OnePlus to make updates faster. Now since they merged with Oppo, updates are getting slower than before. With a lot of use of the older and more stable Color OS elements, it could probably be the best gadget that OnePlus can offer.

Unfortunately, loyal OnePlus fans will probably be disappointed that many of the original Android elements are no longer visible. The minimalist design elements of the Oxygen OS are still there, but not much. This device may be suitable for users who just want to get to know OnePlus.

Good screen, trouble -free performance, acceptable camera as well as a pretty durable battery. The OnePlus Nord 2 is a pretty good premium mid -range device. The selling price above RM2000 for the base model is a bit expensive, when Xiaomi can offer much more robust specs at a more affordable price. But if you don’t want MIUI software problems, this Color OS -style Oxygen OS device might be for you.

OnePlus Nord 2 Model

This 8/128 GB OnePlus Nord 2 model has an AnTuTu score of 565,208. While on Geekbench 5 it has a score of 821/2873 for single core and multi-core. This is a standard score for the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 with 8GB of memory. Because if there is 12GB and virtual RAM support it can reach up to 650-700 thousand.

Even so, this score hasn’t affected my usage since using the Oneplus gadget for about two weeks. In addition to the Oxygen OS problem which is similar to Color OS, real -time usage is smooth and satisfying.

Camera

The main tr-camera configuration which includes Sony IMX766 50MP wide angle sensor, OIS + 8MP ultra wide angle sensor, EIS with 119.7 degree viewing angle + 2MP mono sensor is good configuration and practically each of these sensors is well used. Zoom support is up to 10x digital, supports multiple auto-focus modes, 30fps 4K video recording capability and AI Photo/Video Enhancement are adequate for devices in this class.

The selfie camera is a Sony IMX615 32MP sensor, EIS that supports 1080p 30fps recording. This OnePlus Nord 2 camera app is like a camera app on Oppo and Realme devices. It has a deeper beauty mode of its controls and there is also an AI mode.

The quality of the selfie camera is quite high quality and high resolution. It’s just that the color is a little faded than I expected. But the portrait mode is pretty neat and satisfying. The beauty mode is a must I test, because it’s the first time I’ve encountered this mode on a OnePlus device since the last time I used the OnePlus 8T which still doesn’t have this mode. The beauty mode is a bit weird, but it’s there if that’s what you want. As well as this beauty mode is also what makes some picture situations have more attractive colors.

Xiaomi Pad 5 Conclusion

Xiaomi Pad 5 Conclusion

The Xiaomi Pad 5 conclusion is a tablet I can say is like Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde. The robust screen, powerful processor, still premium design and high -stamina battery are matched by heavy software as well as a lack of tablet -specific application support.

As a tablet for teleconferencing, PdPR and watching video content it is among the most fun I have ever reviewed. Despite the IPS LCD screen, it is very beautiful especially if watching Dolbu Vision content. Streaming 4K video from YouTube is also no problem as the Snapdragon 860 is quite powerful. Making it a tablet for the first time is also not disappointing as the majority of apps can run at high settings. Smooth but not a hot tray like the device with the Snapdragon 888.

But often times MIUI 12.5 provides a not -so -smooth usage experience. The 120Hz screen has ghosting issues and random drop frames. When many heavy applications are launched, a time lag can be felt while performing application switching. I am aware of all this because I am already accustomed to a smoother experience on Xiaomi gadget with 8GB and above.

This is an issue I did not experience on the Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE reviewed earlier. Strange feature of adding RAM Memory Extension is not given to Pad 5 whereas memory addition can solve the issues I mentioned earlier.

Do I still recommend the Xiaomi Pad 5 to you? Yes if you are looking for a tablet to watch videos, firsts and online classes. Android needs to be more serious about offering apps for tablets if it wants to kick the iPad into a hole like Leonidas kicked a Farsi messenger. Granted the newly launched iPad Gen 9 is more expensive but if you really want a tablet, it’s hard to say no to Apple at the moment.

Pro

Beautiful design and premium feel.
The Snapdragon 860 processor is powerful for the majority of the first
The screen is also beautiful with Dolby Vision HDR support.
The audio is also steady.
Good battery life with fast charging.
There is Xiaomi Smart Pen stylus support.

Cons

Tablet -specific software is still not enough.
6GB of RAM is not enough for a tablet.
No accessories for sale. Styluses and keyboards are not available in the Malaysian market.
The camera is just simple.

Xiaomi Pad 5 Camera

Xiaomi Pad 5 Camera

The 13MP main Xiaomi Pad 5 camera is matched with the 8MP front camera. It is very refreshing to comment on a device that is only equipped with a basic camera because we now live in a world of smartphones having eyes which is almost as numerous as a spider.

Tablets are not devices used for photographic purposes and therefore the sensors used will be small as well as absent with extreme gimmicks. The quality of the pictures taken I can say will not qualify the Xiaomi Pad 5 to win any photography awards of 2021. It is too basic and its performance ala rate.

In good lighting situations the pictures taken are bright but the white balance is less balanced. Although HDR and AI -enabled modes the picture has the problem of overexposure sometimes and no dynamic range in the same situation. Camera software is inconsistent. In a slightly dark state, it can be seen that noise begins to appear in the picture.

Subject

When the subject is placed near the lens, again the white balance is less than satisfactory. See a picture of rice joined to a plate in one even color. The image is also less sharp. Color reproduction is also less pronounced. I can say more similar to the camera performance of Xiaomi’s entry level gadget.

I would like to give Xiaomi a chance; as this is an attempt to launch the first tablet for a long time. They have to train before they can walk and then accelerate like Usain Bolt. But at the moment the software on the Xiaomi Pad 5 needs to be much improved; before it can provide real competition to the Apple iPad family.

Overall the Xiaomi Pad 5 still feels like using a Xiaomi phone with a larger screen. There are distinct pros and cons that will test users depending on their level of patience.

Xiaomi Pad 5 Body

Xiaomi Pad 5 Body

In addition to the ‘face’, the Xiaomi Pad 5 body will also attract attention. With a flat side it feels sturdy in the hand. The metal frame feels and looks so premium that it is able to compete with the iPad Pro which is sold at a price that is many times higher. It’s not even an exaggeration to say the Pad 5 is a clone to the iPad Pro just without Face ID.

Button

The large power button has a flat surface as if by supporting a fingerprint scanner. Unfortunately this is not true at all because the Pad 5 only supports a 2D face scanning system. No additional features of the screen or side fingerprint scanner. This is a Xiaomi austerity measure that can be seen positively or negatively depending on personal preference. I have no issues with no other biometric scanning system because I really don’t use it on other tablets at home.

The audio adjustable buttons are also sturdy on the top of the tablet. Four speaker lattice holes are placed on the sides (two on each side) that support Dolby Atmos audio. At the bottom there is also a USB-C charging port. While the tablet’s body is big enough, the Xioami doesn’t include an audio jack or infrared transmitter A rather odd option but the world has indeed shifted away from wired audio accessories and iOT -connected devices not requiring a remote control.

What’s a little less fun is the camera hump which although not that high still; makes the tablet less comfortable to place on the workbench surface. Even the risk of a scratched lens is quite high; because Xiaomi does not equip the camera with a Gorilla Glass DX protective lens. Overall the body gadget design of the Pad 5 is very good, comparable to the more premium and the most flagship tablets, but importantly does not feel or look cheap.

Xiaomi 11T Is Good

Xiaomi 11T Is Good

The conclusion is we love it, because Xiaomi 11T is good. It is a versatile device with a number of attractive offerings. Good 120Hz AMOLED screen, impressive performance, great camera capabilities for most situations and satisfactory battery life. It is also suitable for those of you who love macro photography.

Where, a 5MP sensor for that purpose is capable of capturing every detail on a subject or object quite clearly. So, you can definitely explore the wider world of macro. More interestingly, Xiaomi also promises a long -term update with a guarantee of support for three versions of Android and a security patch for four years.

However, the charging time is still acceptable but not as advertised by Xiaomi. However, if you need a device with incredible charging support, it is better to choose the pro model with 120W fast charging. In Malaysia, the Xiaomi 11T is priced at RM1,699 for the 8GB/128GB variant. Then, the Xiaomi 11T with 8GB/256GB memory costs RM1,899.

Telephone

Phone calls can be made clearly without any problems. One feature that is also supported is phone calls using WiFi (VoWiFi) and VoLTE networks. However, sometimes the Xiaomi 11T unit in our hands faces network problems as can be found on a number of affordable gadget owned by Xaiomi, Redmi or Poco.

What we mean here is a less stable 4G network. It appears frequently intermittent, especially when the device is use as a hotspot. This is very frustrating because we use the device as an internet source at home. When frequently interrupted the process of going through work is interrupt. This is not a problem of the telco cellular network we use because once the SIM is transferred to another device this issue does not arise at all.

Pro

Well built with attractive design.
The screen is nice, bright and beautiful.
Fast & smooth 120Hz refresh rate.
Processor chip with superior performance.
Virtual RAM support helps better performance.
Satisfactory camera capabilities in most situations – both for photo capture and video recording.

Cons

The back panel is easily dirty.
There is no microSD slot space.
Unbalanced audio quality.
Network problem is less stable.
No 3.5mm audio jack.

Xiaomi 11T Usage

Xiaomi 11T Usage

Xiaomi 11T usage & software. Stepping into the interior, the Xiaomi 11T uses a MediaTek Dimensity 1200-Ultra chip. According to MediaTek, the production of this chip is part of MediaTek’s Dimensity Open Resource Architecture program. Through it, it allows manufacturers to access the chip’s internal hardware and software more efficiently. It also brings an eight-core chip design at speeds up to 3.0GHz with a matching nine-core GPU and a powerful AI processor built into the 6nm technology chip.

Memory matching is 8GB of RAM (LPDDR4X) and internal storage up to 256GB (UFS 3.1). At the same time, the Xiaomi 11T also supports a virtual memory expansion system of up to 3GB of RAM. Not to be outdone, it also comes with a three -version support guarantee of Android and a four -year security patch.

Honestly we say, its performance is commendable due to the quite satisfactory user experience. The Xiaomi gadget is capable of working well and most applications can be launched without any problems. The same goes for performance for games, the average can be played very well.

Settings

Talking a bit about the initial settings, Mobile Legends: Bang Bang can be played up to Ultra high graphics, in addition to HD and HFR Mode support that can be activated. Next, other starters like PUBG Mobile have original graphics settings at HD and High frame rates. Still, it can still be played with the highest settings of HDR graphics at Ultra frame rates.

More interestingly, it also plays with a frame rate as high as 90FPS when played on Smooth graphics. But as usual, such a setting will certainly cause the battery to drain quickly. COD Mobile has the original High graphics settings and High frame rate. But can also be played reaching Max frame rate when played at the highest Very High graphics.

Xiaomi 11T is equipped with MIUI 12.5.3 interface based on Android 11. It has a cheerful, neat and beautiful display design. Both in terms of icons, as well as the layout. The installed fat app is also available, however it can still be easily deactivated.

Xiaomi 11T Pro

The Xiaomi 11T Pro is an affordable flagship device once again, just like last year’s Mi 10T Pro. T on the name of the device is indeed suitable for Most Pro, Best, Greatest, Outstanding and many more. From a satisfactory display quality. great audio quality as well as a great user experience. The vibration system also has premium class quality.

The problem on this Xiaomi gadget is that it doesn’t have OIS which makes night mode results not so good. MIUI issues like notifications are seen to be non -existent throughout my use, but the installed fat ads and apps are still there. Very annoying, when the system regularly notifies me to activate the Wallpaper Carousel.

The video recording capability is also seen to be quite good if using Vlog mode, Cinema mode and other filters. But the usual recording mode with AI has a bit of an inconsistent problem. But what can be done, affordable prices must have its sacrifices. With the device promised to receive operating system updates of up to three years and security of up to four years, Xiaomi has time to fix various issues.

The inconsistent AI mode is very annoying whereas the capabilities that Xiaomi is proud of are supposed to depend on their software. Clearly here with the Mi 11 still on sale, it is their best photography and videography device. Offering this device is an option for consumers not to spend at a price of up to RM3000.

With a selling price of RM2099 for 8/256 GB and RM2299 for 12/256 GB, it is definitely worth it.

Telephones and GPS in Xiaomi 11T Pro. Using this device for long -term phone call sessions is a little less comfortable, as this device is a bit heavy. But the call quality is quite clear, loud and no noise effect. Not to forget also this device supports VoLTE on the Maxis network I use. Mobile data usage is also not a problem and is quite stable. Usually affordable flagship devices from Xiaomi have network issues – but that issue is not present on these devices.

Although the device supports 5G, it is highly recommended to turn off and use the 4G setting only. 5G cannot even be used in Malaysia. If on other Xiaomi 5G devices I would encourage 5G life for it to pull the line better, the 11T Pro is already quite stable and turning off 5G will save more battery.

GPS is also not a problem. While I use Google Maps to find directions to the office, there is no problem from locking in the location and the ins and outs are accurate and fast.

Camera

The tri-camera configuration with the offer of multiple videography modes is indeed confusing. But if you look at the demonstration that Xiaomi showed during the launch it all used additional equipment which is indeed beyond the means of those who will buy this device. Xiaomi uses additional tools or camera accessories because this Xiaomi gadget does not have OIS.

Without OIS and relying on EIS alone there is a shortage for video recording or taking pictures at night or when using night mode. In the viewfinder the camera app will definitely sway and will make the user feel annoyed.

The video footage had a bit of an inconsistent white balance problem as well as a focus problem that blink focused on myself and blink focused on the background. Obviously here using auto mode is not recommend and Cinemagic’s capability is for filters, an additional mode built into the camera app.

Software in Xiaomi 11 Lite

Software in Xiaomi 11 Lite

Usage and software in Xiaomi 11 Lite 5G NE. It’s no secret we’re not the number one fan of MIUI as it has a reputation of putting a lot of fat apps and ads in the app as one of the efforts to reduce the selling price of the device. On 11 Lite 5G, MIUI 12.5.4 is used and it is based on Android 11. This is the latest MIUI build in addition to the Enhanced Edition which is only offered on flagship devices and tablets only. The interface design is very neat and almost no longer uses the slope color element that was synonymous with MIU before.

Most of the interface elements are now actually closer to native Android with some customizations that we feel are better than those used on Native Android. An example is a multi-task screen that displays more applications in one screen and vertically. On MIUI the process of selecting applications opened 7-8 past applications is easier; and faster due to the lack of need to scroll. From the same screen the user can access the virus scanning feature in the device; and clear storage as well as RAM usage. For those who subscribe to Netflix, HD resolution content can be streamed because the Xiaomi gadget is equipped with Widevine L1 DRM system.

Feature

This additional feature does not exist on Native Android but is provided as standard. Usually when this is done the device will be slow (do you still remember with TouchWiz?) But on MIUI 12 the usage experience is almost perfect. Opened applications do not undergo a refresh process or are closed aggressively to reduce RAM usage.

In our opinion the Memory Extension mode needs to be activated all the time because MIUI 12.5.4 is quite heavy. When turned off and the device relies entirely on 6GB of RAM it feels a little less smooth. Sometimes it can feel a little blocked.

The advertising issue that makes us hate with Xiaomi MIUI is also has been completed. There are still a few but the process of deactivating them is now much clearer. MIUI at once we no longer included in the list of operating systems; that made us want to punch the wall.

It’s smooth, fast, beautiful, neat and most importantly more in line with what’s on offer on Native Android; but with useful additions. Examples are Second Space, Dual App, Game Turbo and Lite Mode.

Xiaomi 11 Lite Disadvantage

Xiaomi 11 Lite Disadvantage

The Xiaomi 11 lite disadvantage is just this screen does not support adaptive refresh rate that saves more battery. If the battery is important to you, there is an option of selecting 60Hz. The screen is beautiful charming with a regular color production and no image issues displayed are not smooth. The use of the sun is also very satisfying as the screen is still readable.

Flat screen with thick thick bezel. According to the xiaomi standard 2021, the bezel on the screen may be said to be thick but does not interfere with the use of the device. A small-sized camera hole is placed on the left corner. Its existence defines video watch sessions and permits when using the entire screen. We know many who have already familiar with the notches and holes on the screen, but for the visual purist the existence of this hole can be hidden but the forehead becomes too thick.

Processor

The 778G Snapdragon processor was still launched in May. The core configuration of 1 + 3 + 4 is used replacing the 2 + 6 configuration on Snapdragon 732G before. A key thrust is now based Cortex-A78, three more cores are also based Cortex-A78 and four cores based Cortex A55. This is matched with GPU Adreno 642L as well as bringing 5G network support.

On the gadget performance scale it between Snapdragon 765G and above Snapdragon 780g which is no longer produced. This is the first device I reviewed with this chip and excited to see how well it was compared to mottled chips like Snapdragon 888 as well as Cortex-A78 core.

Memory up to 8GB RAM is matched with a storage of up to 256GB UFS 2.2 which can be added using a micro SD card up to 1TB. SD micro cards share slots with a second sized SIM SIM. Therefore think-think if you want to use two nano sim because it can not be used if you want to add more storage. This device supports virtual memory enhancement system of Memory Extension up to 2GB of RAM.

The Galaxy A22 front panel of the device uses a small Infinity-V notched screen at the top. If viewed directly at the bottom, you will obviously find the existence of a very large chin build. Honestly we say, this is the thing that makes the appearance of the device on this front panel so less attractive.

Next up, the front screen is a 6.6-inch TFT LCD. The resolution is FDH+ and also supports the refresh rate reaching 90Hz. To us, the display does not present any problems during use. The screen quality is good and still able to provide a fairly satisfactory description.

The colors also look cheerful which is suitable only for the use of watching favorite videos or viewing any content on the screen. But, all this only happens when you use it in an enclosed area. If on the other hand, the screen will be quite dim especially when used under very hot sunlight.
Interface & Usage Experience

For specs, the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 700 (7nm) chip, 8GB of RAM memory and 128GB of internal storage. The operating system is Android 11 with the One UI 3.0 Core interface is also used. One UI Core is a version of One UI dedicated to Samsung -owned affordable devices. It is also very helpful in focusing more on various important things.

Well, obviously using this Samsung gadget for a variety of basic tasks is sufficient. Just at times, we noticed there was a time lag problem on the unit in our hands. It often occurs in daily use from time to time. It may not be so frequent, but when this issue occurs it evokes an annoying feeling. Especially when wanting to make changes on the app. The process of opening the application becomes a bit slow. One more thing, scrolling is also sometimes not so smooth. The same situation happened when we played first.

Oppo Reno6 5G Conclusion

Oppo Reno6 5G Conclusion

In Oppo Reno6 5G conclusion here, the Oppo Reno6 Pro not only has the latest attractions for the photography enthusiast only. On the other hand, it is also loaded with various other advantages. Premium construction with attractive finish is able to show a unique side to it. Coupled with the balance in performance makes it in a class of its own.

But unfortunately, the lack of a relatively small battery creates a sense of error. Still, Oppo acted wisely by including fast charging support on it. And again notable drawback is the absence of 3.5mm audio jacks and mono speakers definitely have an impact on some users who expect it.

So how? Will you have one? Undoubtedly the user experience is fine overall. Once again we say, the Oppo Reno6 is indeed in a class of its own. Even so, you actually still need to know what exactly is wanted.

Pro

Comfortable gadget design in the hand.
AMOLED screen with 90Hz support that feels good.
Good -in -class processor & built -in 5G support.
Good camera capabilities with various specific modes.
Fast 65W wired charging.

Cons

The battery is a bit small.
Mono speakers.
Absence of 3.5mm audio jack.

Night Mode Enabled

But, there are still some problems that you will face. Among them, you will notice support for an unstable focus system where it is quite difficult to focus on an object or subject. Next, it also took quite a long time i.e. around a few seconds for the capture to be made.

Speaking of wide-angle photo results, it is also not disappointing because it is still able to provide images with good details and details. Not only that, the color production is also good. Finally, the macro mode looks mediocre. Just like his selfie shots we felt were at a moderate level.

Oppo Reno6 Main Display

Oppo Reno6 Main Display

Moving to the Oppo Reno6 main display, the Oppo Reno6 uses a 6.4-inch AMOLED screen with FHD+ resolution and supports a 90Hz refresh rate. Nearby, too, you’ll find a hole in the screen for front camera placement. Then, the bezels on the left, right and top screens also look even. Except, the bezel on the chin part which is still quite thick fixed this is common for most phones in the same class.

Undoubtedly, a 90Hz panel is a major consideration by most consumers today when it comes to buying a new phone. Just as usual, the 90Hz panel will definitely use a lot of battery. Still, don’t worry because you can just change it to a 60Hz screen which is definitely better for longer battery life. For us personally, the 60Hz screen is also actually enough for normal daily use. If only for the use of social media scrolling or maybe replying to messages on the WhatsApp application. In general, it does not indicate any problems at all.

Shortcoming

However, if you notice there is still a clear shortcoming where it has only two settings, namely the standard for the 60Hz screen. Next, High is for the 90Hz screen. But there are absolutely no settings for auto -changing refresh rate support like most devices on the market. However, it is actually not a big issue to discuss as everything is still fine and the Oppo usage experience is also smooth. Only if there is such an option, I will definitely appreciate it more.

In terms of gadget quality, we also did not face any problems with the screen. What can we say the screen has a satisfactory level of brightness even when using it outdoors. Then, the color production also looks quite good, bright and the viewing angle is also satisfactory. One more thing, video problems spill over into the sides also do not occur due to its boxy design.

Oppo Reno6 5G

Oppo Reno6 5G

Oppo has just launched several new smartphones under their Reno series for consumers in Malaysia and one of them is the Oppo Reno6 5G. It is a continuation for the Oppo Reno5 model that was introduced around early last year. Through it, we can see where the exterior design is indeed quite attractive with a modern concept that not only looks charming.

But, it also offers a premium style. Not only that, this Oppo gadget also comes with attractive color options such as Aurora and Stellar Black. In addition, the construction of the device is good enough to provide optimum comfort to all users. So, what else is there on this smartphone? On this occasion, come with me for us to explore more deeply about it.

Design

We start the review article with design. As is well known, the smartphone range under the Reno series typically has a light mass and a fairly elegant finish. Just like the Oppo Reno6 itself where the quality of the finish is the main aspect that is a strength to it. It’s just that the way he performed this time was a little different. The reason is, the Oppo Reno6 uses a boxy build with a flat screen and body.

Honestly no negative comments from us about it. This is due to the build on it which is compact enough to be able to present a comfortable user experience while in the grip. In fact, the use of flat sides is also actually a little helpful in further increasing the surface area of the device. At the same time, it also makes the device look pretty neat. The design is perfect for the average user, and i think it can be accepted by regular user.

OnePlus 7T Pro Performance

OnePlus 7T Pro Performance

Preliminary OnePlus 7T Pro performance & daily assignments. Benchmark scores are for reference only. So what is displayed is sometimes not the same as the real-world performance that we as consumers experience. It is common knowledge that the Apple A13 Bionic processor chip is the most powerful. The benchmark score of this chip on AnTuTu is 470, 297 and on Geekbench 5 is 1335 for single core and 2953 for multi-core. But the Snapdragon 855+ used on the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition got a score of 477008 in AnTuTu, 774 for single core and 2618 for multi-core in Geekbench 5.

Throughout the use of this OnePlus gadget, there is absolutely no problem of time lag when scrolling on the screen. This is thanks to the 90Hz high refresh rate screen and also the greatness of Oxygen OS 10. Every scroll and animation transition is absolutely no time lag. Opening the app, closing or switching is really smooth, fast and everything makes my heart happy.

RAM

Although the RAM used is high i.e. up to 12GB, it still does not have good RAM management. There is already a RAM booster option, the RAM usage of this device reaches over 6GB even when the device is not in use and no terrible background apps are running. Thankfully 12GB of RAM, so there is 6GB left. Imagine if the RAM was only 8GB, there would definitely be a time lag problem. The device is also really great for multi-tasking purposes, opening two apps simultaneously or while watching a video while replying to a message-it’s great.

Below I include some more photo results from this OnePlus device. You can enjoy and appreciate the beauty of images from OnePlus. If you’re wondering, why is there a difference with the OnePlus 7 Pro when the camera specifications are the same – I’m not sure myself. OnePlus 7 Pro devices still do not have a macro mode, but OnePlus 7T devices do have a macro mode. So my conclusion here is, OnePlus uses software to enhance the camera’s prowess of the device.

Why Still Tri-Camera in OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition? Others have already started using quad-cameras, penta-cameras, but the OnePlus with a slack remains with tri-cameras. The 48MP f/1.6 + 12MP f/2.4 + 16MP f/2.2 main tri-camera uses a regular wide-angle lens, a 2x zoom telephoto lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens. An additional advantage is, all three lenses support macro image recording. So far, this is the only Android gadget that has managed to produce good ultra-wide-angle image results-in terms of color, performance and lens transitions.

The OnePlus Camera app is simple and easy to understand. There are many functions included such as portrait mode, Nightscape, slow motion recording, panorama and more. Oh yes, it also supports full manual control and offers a variety of settings including long exposure.

For example, shortcut access to various functions or favorite applications through fingerprint scanning, cloning applications to use two different accounts such as Facebook and WhatsApp and also application lockers to lock applications and can only be access through fingerprint scanning. For those who are easily dizzy, OnePlus also offers a DC dimming function that can be activated in OnePlus lab settings. This function however, will lower the screen resolution and each pixel is most likely easy to see.

There are many more modifying options, which if I wrote them all down for sure no one would read. Another interesting function I should mention is the RAM booster; which will increase the use of RAM to upgrade the performance of the device. Additionally is the landscape mode, which can allow users to have the ability to reply to messages easily. Digital Wellebing has the same capabilities as Pixel and Zen Mode will help users control their obsession with device use. There is no denying that Oxygen OS is one of the best operating systems and it is difficult for me to find its flaws.

OnePlus 7T Pro Design

OnePlus 7T Pro Design

Like the OnePlus 7 Pro, the OnePlus 7T Pro design continues the use of a dual-curved screen. It’s not like the flat OnePlus 7T, which to me is more comfortable to use. Then, the dual-curve screen has no curves like the vivo NEX 3 or Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. The curves are at a comfortable level and will not interfere with the user experience. The frame of this device is aluminum, and when in hand it is thick and pleasant to hold – although the device is slippery.

The design of the bezel is also balanced and very thin so that from one direction, the bezel is not visible at all. Despite not having a curve on the chin as if the iPhone X was up, OnePlus managed to thin its chin many times more than the iPhone.

Screen

The 6.67-inch screen makes this device uncomfortable to use with just one hand. Yes, that’s right – this is not a big deal. This is because the majority of firecracker devices that are on the market right now have an equivalent size. I’m sure, the majority of users don’t care about this size and all can use the OnePlus gadget with two hands easily. But what about consumers who have small hands, like the girls out there? You have to choose the OnePlus 7T, as the OnePlus does not include the screen shrinking option as offered by Xiaomi or the iPhone with Reachability function.

The fingerprint scanning security system is the same as the OnePlus 7 Pro. This means, very fast. No other Android device I’ve used so far has the speed of unlocking like the OnePlus. Another alternative is face -based unlocking, which is also fast. But it is not very safe and will use a selfie camera. But not as fast as other Android devices, because selfie cameras are a pop-up type. But interesting, no matter the vertically or horizontally it can only recognize the face. Ehem, ehem… Apple.

Basic Redmi Class Device

Basic Redmi Class Device

As expected, a basic Redmi class device with a 5000mAh battery will indeed provide long -lasting durability. Although the charging is only 18W, it is one of the most basic and safe fast charging system.

This large battery capacity and 4GB RAM memory that can’t process many applications is enough to give a durability of over 10 hours SOT for productivity use and around 8 hours SOT for entertainment use.

This 18W fast charging system is Power Delivery technology if you want to use USB-C to USB-C or look for a QC 3.0 charger and above for 18W USB-A to USB-C. This long durability is sufficient, especially if a user is only charging the Redmi gadget at night.

Conclusion

The Redmi 10 is clearly an interesting device to use even though the starting price is already getting higher. But if we look at the offerings of competitors, this Redmi has more advantages. Instead of a better screen, tastier speakers, as well as a higher quality camera.

The sale price of RM649 for a start may be a little expensive, but if you think back to the PdPR initiative or working from home which is still lingering – shopping for a device that will guarantee the best productivity for you is enough. Updates are also fast, the battery is also durable – what more could you want for a device in this class?

Pro

Beautiful and attractive screen compared to competitors
Better GPU performance than other Helio G8x
Satisfactory stereo speakers in its class
The 50MP camera produces sharp picture details.

Redmi 10

Redmi 10

The MediaTek G88 chip is actually the same as the G80 or G85 in Redmi 10. It’s more or less the same as a little extra power on the GPU. The test we did recorded a score of 209,778 on AnTuTu and a score of 365/1112 on Geekbench 5. AnTuTu is a Lite version because that’s all the larat device to run.

Playing Asphalt 9 is the only first that can be recommended. Because only on the menu there is a slight time delay and the play session will provide an acceptable experience. Attempting to run a heavier primer will make the gadget overheat and time lag extremely severe. So, if you are stubborn and still want to play – play at the lower settings recommended. The 6GB RAM variation probably won’t have this problem.
Audio

While the Redmi 10 is a basic class device. It still has fairly balanced stereo speakers compared to the Realme Narzo 30A or Infinix Hot 10S with mono speakers. The audio quality is not the best, with 100% levels starting to have an unpleasant effect and only around 60-70 percent only the best settings. Even so, it’s a bit slow.

But a balanced audio offering is enough to listen to friends, teachers, employers talk during teleconferencing sessions or simply alone watching videos and listening to music. If these speakers aren’t satisfactory, just buy an audio accessory like TWS for a more immersive listening experience.

Telephones And GPS

Yes, as you and we expect – most MIUI devices at this price will have serious network problems. It’s not very friendly, even though our 4G area is stable. It’s a little slow and sometimes as if disconnected. Sometimes it is forgivable because there is fast WiFi, but even WiFi is sometimes successfully connected without access to the Internet. Not sure of the issue on the modem or MIUI.

Phone calls are fortunately good enough and adequate along with acceptable GPS which is quite fast location lock and no problem in the intricacies of directions on Google Maps. For the long haul it is difficult for us to determine whether it will be problematic or not.

Galaxy Z Fold3 Screen

Galaxy Z Fold3 Screen

The Galaxy Z Fold3 screen is still the same size but was eventually enhanced with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate support. Last year the difference of the 60Hz external screen and the 120Hz internal screen became an issue among some reviewers. I personally don’t feel this is a big issue as I rarely use an external screen as opposed to an internal one.

Holes still exist but overall this exterior screen is gorgeous with the right color display. There is no issue to use outside either because the Samsung AMOLED panel is the best on the market so it can be used under the scorching Malaysian sunlight.

The interior screen is the real hero of the Z Fold3 series. The size is also maintained 7.6 ″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The UTG coating is back to prevent scratches easily but Samsung has yet to be able to remove the noticeable crease effect. If you’re like I’ve been using dark mode all the time, the folds of the screen don’t look so noticeable. While watching the video also it is successfully hidden by the visuals that are being watched on the screen.

Consumer

But it’s very rare that Samsung doesn’t fix an issue; that has been a consumer grievance over the past three years. After three iterations of the Z Folding gadget and three more iterations on the Z Flip series the vengeance of the screen still exists. Add oddly when you see Huawei has already eliminated this folding issue in just two years. The Huawei Mate X2’s screen not only doesn’t have any crease effect but is also bigger.

As a company with a reputation for using the latest, most advanced; and best technology the existence of a folding screen on the Z Fold3 is quite confusing. Even more confusing is the use of under -screen camera (UDC) technology which is also backward. I understand why the selfie camera hole was replaced with UDC; but its implementation on Z Fold3 shows it is still not ready for prime time.

Google Pixel 4 Speakers

Google Pixel 4 Speakers

So, the quality of the Google Pixel 4 speakers is not as great as the Pixel 2 or 3. But, the audio produced is still satisfactory. It has a pretty deep bass rumble, pretty bright vocals and still provides an immersive listening experience. But, if I compare it to my iPhone XS – I prefer the iPhone speakers. If compared to the OnePlus 7T or 7T Pro, I would choose the Pixel because the quality produced on me is better.

Pixel 4 like Pixel 2 and Pixel 3, no more audio jack ports. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 I can accept because Google included an audio jack adapter. But on the Pixel 4, the adapter has to be purchased separately. More annoying, only adapters with Made for Google recognition can be used and the price is expensive. There are only third-party accessories, however need to find one that has a DAC and uses a recognized USB-C connection.

Preliminary Performance & Daily Assignments

Since the Pixel 3 again, I haven’t played the first on a Pixel gadget. Because this device is not made for gaming. Instead it is for lifestyle, work and leisure use. It is a premium device created for casual use. The performance of daily tasks is very smooth and satisfactory.

Scroll from each section fast, 90Hz indeed makes a difference and the use of multi-tasks such as opening two applications simultaneously is quite fast. I use this device a lot as a media and reading device. But, that doesn’t mean this device can’t play permu. It’s just that in my opinion, it doesn’t fit. First, the sleek design makes this device uncomfortable to hold if playing first.

The benchmark score is fine. But in the AnTuTu list, this Google Pixel 4 is in 17th place. Beaten by devices like the Black Shark 2, Mi 9, Mi 9T Pro, Realme X2 Pro, OnePlus 7T and more. The Geekebnch score of 5 is also mediocre. But, I still hold on to my stance. Benchmark scores are mere numbers and usage in the real world is real performance that users have to feel for themselves.

Android 10 Original Gadget

Android 10 Original Gadget

Android 10 original gadget that is not for everyone. Like the title of this paragraph, yes it’s true the native Android on the Pixel isn’t for everyone. I say this based on my own experience. Many of my acquaintances and many even gadget experts who have chatted with me say Android on Pixel devices is boring. That is why the Oxygen OS on OnePlus devices is a popular native Android.

Many of the specific functions of Google Pixel 4 in Android 10 are already my story above, so in this paragraph I will tell more on the user experience. Start with the interface. Android 10 has a native Android interface which to me is very comfortable. No matter the light mode or the dark theme mode, it is pleasing to the eye. Yes it is true, it will look empty and honestly – I myself as a Pixel fan admit it does look empty and bored. But that’s the minimalist design that Google has to offer. Only real Pixel users will know that the Pixel 4 isn’t boring, because knowing behind the emptiness of the original Android is like this empty soul in myself – there’s a secret that makes this device great.

Void

With the “void” on the Pixel 4 this makes the device smooth and fast. Then, this is also why the RAM on the Pixel 4 is 6GB and does not reach 8GB or 12GB like the competitors. Pixels aren’t many there are apps running in the background or heavy themes that require a lot of power. Inside the device system settings, there will be many interesting setting options that give users a variety of customization options. It is also easy to use and easy to understand. Even if you are not a previous Pixel user, believe it or not a day or two is enough for you to dive into the world of Pixel and enjoy the beauty of this device.

Google Pixel 4 Features

Google Pixel 4 Features

Google Pixel 4 features have now playing mode which is a mode of always listening to music around the user. With this function, it will display what music and users can directly open and listen through YouTube Music, YouTube or directly add in YouTube Music playlist. More interestingly, in the latest update all the music heard by this function – it will display in a history list.

If that’s what you find less appealing, Now Playing can also work without an Internet connection. This function also helps me when I’m outside, like in a restaurant and I’m interested in the music that’s being played – but not the year of who the singer is or the title of the song.

Active Edge

This is a function that mimics that of HTC. HTC has introduced this functionality in concept devices, before realizing it to the HTC U11. For Pixel devices, it was first introduced on the Pixel 2 and continues to this day. This function is very helpful for users like me who often use Google Assistant, but do not want to disturb others around by frequently saying “Hey, Google”. It also has no haptic response to provide a more satisfactory user experience.

Google is actually dizzy. They produced this Active Edge for the situation as I described. But in Pixel 4 and Android 10, there are already simple gesture controls to access Google Assistant. That is, scroll from the bottom corner of the screen upwards and Google Assistant will continue to be ready to listen to user instructions. Haishh… Google, Google.

Haptic engine

Google states that the haptic engine used is sharp and textured. I’m less clear on that, but throughout the use of this device it’s the Android gadget that has the most compelling haptic response. It feels real and alive and so satisfying. Google seems to have successfully mimicked Apple’s haptic engine.

Google Pixel 4 Screen

Google Pixel 4 Screen

Stopping there, this Google Pixel 4 screen with OLED is undeniably very good. Pretty bright colors, satisfactory HDR rate and has fine brightness. When watching Netflix or YouTube with content that supports HDR, the colors look vivid, every detail can be seen in more detail and provide an almost satisfying viewing experience. Yes, almost. This is because the forehead is too thick on the Pixel 4 screen. Great! Google is no longer using the ugly notch of the Pixel 3 XL. But this thick forehead design is from a device many years ago. Directly not modern and looks awkward when compared to current devices.

However, after a few weeks – I already feel normal. It’s like a “new” notch. Yes, the design is weird and not pretty. The same goes for the iPhone X notch, the HD+ iPhone 11 LCD screen or devices with perforated screens. Users need to spend a little time with the device, before continuing to enjoy it. To me, if given a choice, I would choose the OnePlus 7T Pro screen. But believe it or not, this Pixel 4 screen is also Okay!

Brightness

But OnePlus devices can stay 90Hz no matter what the brightness level. Google’s reason here is a limitation on the hardware used. To me, Google doesn’t want to admit wrong that they put a small battery on the Pixel 4 with a wide range of processing power, so if it’s always 90Hz – the battery life will be bad.

The device is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processing chip and is matched with 6GB of RAM memory and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The gadget model I use is 64GB. Most frustrating here is the storage. 64GB of storage is a no -go for 2019 and the frustration doesn’t stop there – the device’s storage is based on UFS 2.1 instead of 3.0. My Lord, Google.
