Oppo Reno6 5G

Oppo Reno6 5G

Oppo has just launched several new smartphones under their Reno series for consumers in Malaysia and one of them is the Oppo Reno6 5G. It is a continuation for the Oppo Reno5 model that was introduced around early last year. Through it, we can see where the exterior design is indeed quite attractive with a modern concept that not only looks charming.

But, it also offers a premium style. Not only that, this Oppo gadget also comes with attractive color options such as Aurora and Stellar Black. In addition, the construction of the device is good enough to provide optimum comfort to all users. So, what else is there on this smartphone? On this occasion, come with me for us to explore more deeply about it.

Design

We start the review article with design. As is well known, the smartphone range under the Reno series typically has a light mass and a fairly elegant finish. Just like the Oppo Reno6 itself where the quality of the finish is the main aspect that is a strength to it. It’s just that the way he performed this time was a little different. The reason is, the Oppo Reno6 uses a boxy build with a flat screen and body.

Honestly no negative comments from us about it. This is due to the build on it which is compact enough to be able to present a comfortable user experience while in the grip. In fact, the use of flat sides is also actually a little helpful in further increasing the surface area of the device. At the same time, it also makes the device look pretty neat. The design is perfect for the average user, and i think it can be accepted by regular user.

OnePlus 7T Pro Performance

OnePlus 7T Pro Performance

Preliminary OnePlus 7T Pro performance & daily assignments. Benchmark scores are for reference only. So what is displayed is sometimes not the same as the real-world performance that we as consumers experience. It is common knowledge that the Apple A13 Bionic processor chip is the most powerful. The benchmark score of this chip on AnTuTu is 470, 297 and on Geekbench 5 is 1335 for single core and 2953 for multi-core. But the Snapdragon 855+ used on the OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition got a score of 477008 in AnTuTu, 774 for single core and 2618 for multi-core in Geekbench 5.

Throughout the use of this OnePlus gadget, there is absolutely no problem of time lag when scrolling on the screen. This is thanks to the 90Hz high refresh rate screen and also the greatness of Oxygen OS 10. Every scroll and animation transition is absolutely no time lag. Opening the app, closing or switching is really smooth, fast and everything makes my heart happy.

RAM

Although the RAM used is high i.e. up to 12GB, it still does not have good RAM management. There is already a RAM booster option, the RAM usage of this device reaches over 6GB even when the device is not in use and no terrible background apps are running. Thankfully 12GB of RAM, so there is 6GB left. Imagine if the RAM was only 8GB, there would definitely be a time lag problem. The device is also really great for multi-tasking purposes, opening two apps simultaneously or while watching a video while replying to a message-it’s great.

Below I include some more photo results from this OnePlus device. You can enjoy and appreciate the beauty of images from OnePlus. If you’re wondering, why is there a difference with the OnePlus 7 Pro when the camera specifications are the same – I’m not sure myself. OnePlus 7 Pro devices still do not have a macro mode, but OnePlus 7T devices do have a macro mode. So my conclusion here is, OnePlus uses software to enhance the camera’s prowess of the device.

Tri-Camera in OnePlus 7T Pro

Tri-Camera in OnePlus 7T Pro

Why Still Tri-Camera in OnePlus 7T Pro McLaren Edition? Others have already started using quad-cameras, penta-cameras, but the OnePlus with a slack remains with tri-cameras. The 48MP f/1.6 + 12MP f/2.4 + 16MP f/2.2 main tri-camera uses a regular wide-angle lens, a 2x zoom telephoto lens and an ultra-wide-angle lens. An additional advantage is, all three lenses support macro image recording. So far, this is the only Android gadget that has managed to produce good ultra-wide-angle image results-in terms of color, performance and lens transitions.

The OnePlus Camera app is simple and easy to understand. There are many functions included such as portrait mode, Nightscape, slow motion recording, panorama and more. Oh yes, it also supports full manual control and offers a variety of settings including long exposure.

Utilities

In the utilities section in the settings, users can activate a variety of interesting functions that are worth a try. For example, shortcut access to various functions or favorite applications through fingerprint scanning, cloning applications to use two different accounts such as Facebook and WhatsApp and also application lockers to lock applications and can only be access through fingerprint scanning. For those who are easily dizzy, OnePlus also offers a DC dimming function that can be activated in OnePlus lab settings. This function however, will lower the screen resolution and each pixel is most likely easy to see.

There are many more modifying options, which if I wrote them all down for sure no one would read. Another interesting function I should mention is the RAM booster; which will increase the use of RAM to upgrade the performance of the device. Additionally is the landscape mode, which can allow users to have the ability to reply to messages easily. Digital Wellebing has the same capabilities as Pixel and Zen Mode will help users control their obsession with device use. There is no denying that Oxygen OS is one of the best operating systems and it is difficult for me to find its flaws.

OnePlus 7T Pro Design

OnePlus 7T Pro Design

Like the OnePlus 7 Pro, the OnePlus 7T Pro design continues the use of a dual-curved screen. It’s not like the flat OnePlus 7T, which to me is more comfortable to use. Then, the dual-curve screen has no curves like the vivo NEX 3 or Samsung Galaxy Note 10+. The curves are at a comfortable level and will not interfere with the user experience. The frame of this device is aluminum, and when in hand it is thick and pleasant to hold – although the device is slippery.

The design of the bezel is also balanced and very thin so that from one direction, the bezel is not visible at all. Despite not having a curve on the chin as if the iPhone X was up, OnePlus managed to thin its chin many times more than the iPhone.

Screen

The 6.67-inch screen makes this device uncomfortable to use with just one hand. Yes, that’s right – this is not a big deal. This is because the majority of firecracker devices that are on the market right now have an equivalent size. I’m sure, the majority of users don’t care about this size and all can use the OnePlus gadget with two hands easily. But what about consumers who have small hands, like the girls out there? You have to choose the OnePlus 7T, as the OnePlus does not include the screen shrinking option as offered by Xiaomi or the iPhone with Reachability function.

The fingerprint scanning security system is the same as the OnePlus 7 Pro. This means, very fast. No other Android device I’ve used so far has the speed of unlocking like the OnePlus. Another alternative is face -based unlocking, which is also fast. But it is not very safe and will use a selfie camera. But not as fast as other Android devices, because selfie cameras are a pop-up type. But interesting, no matter the vertically or horizontally it can only recognize the face. Ehem, ehem… Apple.

Basic Redmi Class Device

Basic Redmi Class Device

As expected, a basic Redmi class device with a 5000mAh battery will indeed provide long -lasting durability. Although the charging is only 18W, it is one of the most basic and safe fast charging system.

This large battery capacity and 4GB RAM memory that can’t process many applications is enough to give a durability of over 10 hours SOT for productivity use and around 8 hours SOT for entertainment use.

This 18W fast charging system is Power Delivery technology if you want to use USB-C to USB-C or look for a QC 3.0 charger and above for 18W USB-A to USB-C. This long durability is sufficient, especially if a user is only charging the Redmi gadget at night.

Conclusion

The Redmi 10 is clearly an interesting device to use even though the starting price is already getting higher. But if we look at the offerings of competitors, this Redmi has more advantages. Instead of a better screen, tastier speakers, as well as a higher quality camera.

The sale price of RM649 for a start may be a little expensive, but if you think back to the PdPR initiative or working from home which is still lingering – shopping for a device that will guarantee the best productivity for you is enough. Updates are also fast, the battery is also durable – what more could you want for a device in this class?

Pro

Beautiful and attractive screen compared to competitors
Better GPU performance than other Helio G8x
Satisfactory stereo speakers in its class
The 50MP camera produces sharp picture details.

Redmi 10

Redmi 10

The MediaTek G88 chip is actually the same as the G80 or G85 in Redmi 10. It’s more or less the same as a little extra power on the GPU. The test we did recorded a score of 209,778 on AnTuTu and a score of 365/1112 on Geekbench 5. AnTuTu is a Lite version because that’s all the larat device to run.

Playing Asphalt 9 is the only first that can be recommended. Because only on the menu there is a slight time delay and the play session will provide an acceptable experience. Attempting to run a heavier primer will make the gadget overheat and time lag extremely severe. So, if you are stubborn and still want to play – play at the lower settings recommended. The 6GB RAM variation probably won’t have this problem.
Audio

While the Redmi 10 is a basic class device. It still has fairly balanced stereo speakers compared to the Realme Narzo 30A or Infinix Hot 10S with mono speakers. The audio quality is not the best, with 100% levels starting to have an unpleasant effect and only around 60-70 percent only the best settings. Even so, it’s a bit slow.

But a balanced audio offering is enough to listen to friends, teachers, employers talk during teleconferencing sessions or simply alone watching videos and listening to music. If these speakers aren’t satisfactory, just buy an audio accessory like TWS for a more immersive listening experience.

Telephones And GPS

Yes, as you and we expect – most MIUI devices at this price will have serious network problems. It’s not very friendly, even though our 4G area is stable. It’s a little slow and sometimes as if disconnected. Sometimes it is forgivable because there is fast WiFi, but even WiFi is sometimes successfully connected without access to the Internet. Not sure of the issue on the modem or MIUI.

Phone calls are fortunately good enough and adequate along with acceptable GPS which is quite fast location lock and no problem in the intricacies of directions on Google Maps. For the long haul it is difficult for us to determine whether it will be problematic or not.

Galaxy Z Fold3 Screen

Galaxy Z Fold3 Screen

The Galaxy Z Fold3 screen is still the same size but was eventually enhanced with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate support. Last year the difference of the 60Hz external screen and the 120Hz internal screen became an issue among some reviewers. I personally don’t feel this is a big issue as I rarely use an external screen as opposed to an internal one.

Holes still exist but overall this exterior screen is gorgeous with the right color display. There is no issue to use outside either because the Samsung AMOLED panel is the best on the market so it can be used under the scorching Malaysian sunlight.

The interior screen is the real hero of the Z Fold3 series. The size is also maintained 7.6 ″ Dynamic AMOLED 2X with adaptive 120Hz refresh rate. The UTG coating is back to prevent scratches easily but Samsung has yet to be able to remove the noticeable crease effect. If you’re like I’ve been using dark mode all the time, the folds of the screen don’t look so noticeable. While watching the video also it is successfully hidden by the visuals that are being watched on the screen.

Consumer

But it’s very rare that Samsung doesn’t fix an issue; that has been a consumer grievance over the past three years. After three iterations of the Z Folding gadget and three more iterations on the Z Flip series the vengeance of the screen still exists. Add oddly when you see Huawei has already eliminated this folding issue in just two years. The Huawei Mate X2’s screen not only doesn’t have any crease effect but is also bigger.

As a company with a reputation for using the latest, most advanced; and best technology the existence of a folding screen on the Z Fold3 is quite confusing. Even more confusing is the use of under -screen camera (UDC) technology which is also backward. I understand why the selfie camera hole was replaced with UDC; but its implementation on Z Fold3 shows it is still not ready for prime time.

Google Pixel 4 Speakers

Google Pixel 4 Speakers

So, the quality of the Google Pixel 4 speakers is not as great as the Pixel 2 or 3. But, the audio produced is still satisfactory. It has a pretty deep bass rumble, pretty bright vocals and still provides an immersive listening experience. But, if I compare it to my iPhone XS – I prefer the iPhone speakers. If compared to the OnePlus 7T or 7T Pro, I would choose the Pixel because the quality produced on me is better.

Pixel 4 like Pixel 2 and Pixel 3, no more audio jack ports. The Pixel 2 and Pixel 3 I can accept because Google included an audio jack adapter. But on the Pixel 4, the adapter has to be purchased separately. More annoying, only adapters with Made for Google recognition can be used and the price is expensive. There are only third-party accessories, however need to find one that has a DAC and uses a recognized USB-C connection.

Preliminary Performance & Daily Assignments

Since the Pixel 3 again, I haven’t played the first on a Pixel gadget. Because this device is not made for gaming. Instead it is for lifestyle, work and leisure use. It is a premium device created for casual use. The performance of daily tasks is very smooth and satisfactory.

Scroll from each section fast, 90Hz indeed makes a difference and the use of multi-tasks such as opening two applications simultaneously is quite fast. I use this device a lot as a media and reading device. But, that doesn’t mean this device can’t play permu. It’s just that in my opinion, it doesn’t fit. First, the sleek design makes this device uncomfortable to hold if playing first.

The benchmark score is fine. But in the AnTuTu list, this Google Pixel 4 is in 17th place. Beaten by devices like the Black Shark 2, Mi 9, Mi 9T Pro, Realme X2 Pro, OnePlus 7T and more. The Geekebnch score of 5 is also mediocre. But, I still hold on to my stance. Benchmark scores are mere numbers and usage in the real world is real performance that users have to feel for themselves.

Android 10 Original Gadget

Android 10 Original Gadget

Android 10 original gadget that is not for everyone. Like the title of this paragraph, yes it’s true the native Android on the Pixel isn’t for everyone. I say this based on my own experience. Many of my acquaintances and many even gadget experts who have chatted with me say Android on Pixel devices is boring. That is why the Oxygen OS on OnePlus devices is a popular native Android.

Many of the specific functions of Google Pixel 4 in Android 10 are already my story above, so in this paragraph I will tell more on the user experience. Start with the interface. Android 10 has a native Android interface which to me is very comfortable. No matter the light mode or the dark theme mode, it is pleasing to the eye. Yes it is true, it will look empty and honestly – I myself as a Pixel fan admit it does look empty and bored. But that’s the minimalist design that Google has to offer. Only real Pixel users will know that the Pixel 4 isn’t boring, because knowing behind the emptiness of the original Android is like this empty soul in myself – there’s a secret that makes this device great.

Void

With the “void” on the Pixel 4 this makes the device smooth and fast. Then, this is also why the RAM on the Pixel 4 is 6GB and does not reach 8GB or 12GB like the competitors. Pixels aren’t many there are apps running in the background or heavy themes that require a lot of power. Inside the device system settings, there will be many interesting setting options that give users a variety of customization options. It is also easy to use and easy to understand. Even if you are not a previous Pixel user, believe it or not a day or two is enough for you to dive into the world of Pixel and enjoy the beauty of this device.

Google Pixel 4 Features

Google Pixel 4 Features

Google Pixel 4 features have now playing mode which is a mode of always listening to music around the user. With this function, it will display what music and users can directly open and listen through YouTube Music, YouTube or directly add in YouTube Music playlist. More interestingly, in the latest update all the music heard by this function – it will display in a history list.

If that’s what you find less appealing, Now Playing can also work without an Internet connection. This function also helps me when I’m outside, like in a restaurant and I’m interested in the music that’s being played – but not the year of who the singer is or the title of the song.

Active Edge

This is a function that mimics that of HTC. HTC has introduced this functionality in concept devices, before realizing it to the HTC U11. For Pixel devices, it was first introduced on the Pixel 2 and continues to this day. This function is very helpful for users like me who often use Google Assistant, but do not want to disturb others around by frequently saying “Hey, Google”. It also has no haptic response to provide a more satisfactory user experience.

Google is actually dizzy. They produced this Active Edge for the situation as I described. But in Pixel 4 and Android 10, there are already simple gesture controls to access Google Assistant. That is, scroll from the bottom corner of the screen upwards and Google Assistant will continue to be ready to listen to user instructions. Haishh… Google, Google.

Haptic engine

Google states that the haptic engine used is sharp and textured. I’m less clear on that, but throughout the use of this device it’s the Android gadget that has the most compelling haptic response. It feels real and alive and so satisfying. Google seems to have successfully mimicked Apple’s haptic engine.

Google Pixel 4 Screen

Google Pixel 4 Screen

Stopping there, this Google Pixel 4 screen with OLED is undeniably very good. Pretty bright colors, satisfactory HDR rate and has fine brightness. When watching Netflix or YouTube with content that supports HDR, the colors look vivid, every detail can be seen in more detail and provide an almost satisfying viewing experience. Yes, almost. This is because the forehead is too thick on the Pixel 4 screen. Great! Google is no longer using the ugly notch of the Pixel 3 XL. But this thick forehead design is from a device many years ago. Directly not modern and looks awkward when compared to current devices.

However, after a few weeks – I already feel normal. It’s like a “new” notch. Yes, the design is weird and not pretty. The same goes for the iPhone X notch, the HD+ iPhone 11 LCD screen or devices with perforated screens. Users need to spend a little time with the device, before continuing to enjoy it. To me, if given a choice, I would choose the OnePlus 7T Pro screen. But believe it or not, this Pixel 4 screen is also Okay!

Brightness

But OnePlus devices can stay 90Hz no matter what the brightness level. Google’s reason here is a limitation on the hardware used. To me, Google doesn’t want to admit wrong that they put a small battery on the Pixel 4 with a wide range of processing power, so if it’s always 90Hz – the battery life will be bad.

The device is powered by a Snapdragon 855 processing chip and is matched with 6GB of RAM memory and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. The gadget model I use is 64GB. Most frustrating here is the storage. 64GB of storage is a no -go for 2019 and the frustration doesn’t stop there – the device’s storage is based on UFS 2.1 instead of 3.0. My Lord, Google.

Realme X2 Pro Camera

Realme X2 Pro Camera

Yes, the Realme X2 Pro camera is also one of the devices that uses a lens from Samsung – 64MP. It is combined with a 13MP telephoto lens, 8MP ultra wide angle (5x hybrid optical zoom & 20x hybrid zoom) and 2MP bokeh lens. After using this device for quite some time, I found that the camera is quite great and is able to give amazing results. Only, if there is enough light.

I myself was surprised by the camera results of this device while on holiday in Penang. I spent time there with the Realme X2 Pro as a daily device for taking pictures. The sample below is the difference between the four lenses. The results are very satisfying. The first image is the main lens, the second is the triple zoom, then the image is zoomed five times and the last is the ultra wide angle. The first three lenses are very good, the color is almost even and vivid. Bright, precise details, very beautiful and satisfying. The value of the dynamic range is also quite high. The final picture, i.e. the ultra wide angle lens is not very interesting. The color fades, but it looks more natural and as if what the human eye sees.

Test

The next picture is also a test of the difference between the four lenses. The distance is around 100 meters and it displays amazing results. Moreover, when zoomed five times, the color remains, the individual details in the picture are also almost accurate and the noise effect is softened well. Ultra wide angle results, again has a faded color. However, the distortion effect is not severe and it has a good view. The next Realme gadget sample is to take a regular picture and zoom five times. Again, the results are amazing.

Realme X2 Pro Screen

Realme X2 Pro Screen

The Realme X2 Pro screen of this device is as expected. Super AMOLED, HDR10+, and 100ЬI-P3 color settings. The screen is very beautiful, bright and satisfying. Watching video content like from Netflix, YouTube or Disney+ is no problem at all. It has a vivid, sharp color, quite vivid. Of course, the black color is pretty dark like any other AMOLED device. However, the black color darkness on this device is not as great as other flagship devices like the Pixel 4, OnePlus 7T Pro or Samsung Galaxy S10. This may be due to the screen color configuration.

Yes, it supports HDR10+, but the dynamic range value on the screen of this device is not very good. Or in other words, his HR is not very satisfactory. It looks a bit faded, depending on the content types. However, watching HDR content is supported on either YouTube or Netflix. The viewing experience on this screen is also satisfying. Since it is familiar with devices with notches, the notches on this Samsung gadget do not bother at all.

Screen

The brightness of the screen when used in sunlight is quite good. It is clearly visible, and it also comes with consumer eye protection by TÜV Rheinland’s. As for the 90Hz refresh rate, it’s like what we can feel on a device like the Pixel 4 or OnePlus 7T. However, as I said earlier – the ColorOS 6.1 operating system does not seem to be good enough for a screen like this. So a closer comparison is the Oppo Reno Ace Gundam, which has more or less the same specs.

For speakers, it’s a stereo type. The speakers are optimized by Dolby Atmos and are also certified with Hi-Res. But to me, that’s only on paper. The speaker level of the device is loud and loud. However, the bass rumble is not deep enough and when watching videos of explosions, wars or shootings is not quite satisfying.

Samsung Galaxy A51 Camera

Samsung Galaxy A51 Camera

The Samsung Galaxy A51 camera uses a quad-camera system of 48MP f/2.0 (main) + 12MP f/2.2 (ultra wide angle) + 5MP f/2.4 (macro) + 5MP f/2.2 (bokeh) lens. For the selfie camera is 32MP f/2.2. The overall result of this camera is as expected for Samsung’s mid -range devices. Still, bokeh lenses and macro lenses to me are a gimmick and seem to have no function. Only the ultra wide angle lens surprised me as the results were very satisfying.

I’ll start with the ultra wide angle lens first. Samsung uses a 123 degree viewing angle and is extremely wide. Not only that, it has a fisheye -like display but it seems to have a distortion problem that has been fixed. Indirectly displays a beautiful and attractive ultra wide angle picture. In terms of color, it has a high dynamic range value, vivid colors and precise details.

It should be noted that this ultra wide angle lens does not support auto-focus. So be careful when taking pictures.

The next picture is a Live Focus picture that is supposed to use a bokeh lens to help with better results. However, this portrait mode picture looks untidy and unsatisfactory. If you look at my picture, in the ears and glasses – it is also blurred.

Situations

However, there are situations where the results are quite interesting. Only the blur in the background is not pretty and looks so soft and unrealistic.

Like ultra-wide-angle lenses, macro lenses also lack auto-focus support. Indirectly made it difficult for me to take close -up pictures. Samsung says he’s mimicking 40mm DSLR lens, but I feel not. Typically, on smart gadget – the recommended distance is around 2cm. Yet the Galaxy A51 requires a distance of about 5cm from the subject. The color also looks a bit faded, but the result is fine.

Samsung Galaxy A51 Design

Samsung Galaxy A51 Design

It’s already Samsung’s identity for acah-acah to have premium building materials on Samsung Galaxy A51 design. That’s what they did on the Galaxy A51 with the Glasstic building material i.e. glass and plastic combined to form one new material. However, during use it is only plastic and has no features like a glass panel. On the back panel as well, Samsung uses a new rhythmic pattern design “Prime Crush”. It combines three different patterns on the back and is then offered in several color options. This review unit of ours uses the color blue, but in my eyes it’s more of a slightly greenish color.

Location

At the back is also the location of the camera module which does not have a thick bulge. On the other hand when placed on a flat surface it feels flat. At the bottom, there is a 3.5mm audio jack port, a USB-C connection port, a microphone and a speaker lattice. Turning to the top, there is nothing but another microphone. On the right side, there is a power button that also functions as a Bixby button (can be set by the user) as well as a volume button. On the left side is a SIM card slot which also has a microSD memory card slot.

The device is powered by a distinctive Samusng chip, the Exynos 9611 with a 10nm build. It is then matched with 6GB of RAM memory and 128GB of internal storage. If that’s not enough, microSD cards up to 512GB in size can be used in the second SIM card slot. On paper it sounds like it has nice gadget specs. Yes good enough, but not so great when using this device to play first. I will explain in more detail in a moment.

Note 10 Lite Review

Note 10 Lite Review

Concluding this Galaxy Note 10 Lite review, there will definitely be a question – who is this device for? Is it worth it? Better to buy Galaxy Note 9 or Note 10 Lite?

Samsung Galaxy note Lite comes to this world, so that those who could not afford to buy a Galaxy Note device before – have a chance to buy one. It’s worth it, if you want the use of an S-Pen and a camera that’s close to the Galaxy Note 10. Between the Note 9 and Note 10 Lite, it depends on how the user uses it. If waterproof and wireless charging as well as premium building materials are what you want – the better the Note 9. But keep in mind, the Galaxy Note 9 doesn’t support fast charging and to this day still runs One UI 1.0 Android Pie.

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite will be sold on February 7 with a price tag of RM2299. Every user who pre-orders from 3/2 to 5/2, you will receive a pair of Galaxy Fit. The price of more than RM2000 for a device powered by obsolete chips and cheap building materials, is expensive. But, where are the other options? This is the only brand of Android gadget that offers good stylus support. So, this is the only option you can choose.

Security

Like any other Samsung device, the Note 10 Lite also has face-based unlock support. It uses a selfie camera, and on this device it often fails and sometimes doesn’t work at all. Throughout my use, I more and more unlocked the device with the pin code only.

Note 10 Lite AnTuTu

Note 10 Lite AnTuTu

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite AnTuTu benchmark scoreis faster than the Galaxy Note 9. This is probably due to the use of One UI 2.0 based on Android 10. The score received was 333,872. The test in Geekbench 5 for single core is 673. While for multi-core is 2053. For GPU test, Vulkan score in Geekbench 5 is 3276 and the score is 3820 for OpenGL.

Battery Life

The Galaxy Note 10 Lite loads a larger gadget battery capacity than the Galaxy Note 10, which is 4500mAh. However, for the first time I used a Galaxy Note device that had very poor battery life. This device only has a battery life of around 4 hours 51 minutes only SOT with a balance of 12%. This means, if it lasts up to 0% – it can probably give around 45 extra minutes. For a Galaxy Note, the battery life of around 5 hours is weak.

It already has a larger battery size than the Galaxy Note 10 and Note 10+, but unfortunately it doesn’t have the same durability. One of the reasons is, the build of the Exynos 9810 chip is 10nm which for the new 2020 device is an outdated chip. The battery mode that I use is optimized and also turns on the so -called adaptive battery function is a smart mode to ensure better battery life.

The most shocking thing about the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is that it supports Samsung‘s new fast charging system – Super Fast Charging. It has a power of 25w and can charge the device from 0% -100% around 1 hour only. Yet it is inconsistent, as this Super Fast Charging system is USB-PD based and on the Galaxy Note 10+, it can reach up to 45w. Sadly informed, the Galaxy Note 10 Lite does not have wireless charging support.

This new Galaxy Note model uses a tri-camera system of 12MP f/1.7 (main) + 12MP f/2.4 (telephoto) 12MP f/2.2 (ultra wide angle) lens. For the selfie camera is 32MP f/2.2. The overall result of this camera is satisfactory. Not so much wanting the negative things I found, except on the selfie camera.

Second Galaxy Note 10

Second Galaxy Note 10

The second Galaxy Note 10 situation, I use it in extreme situations. I played first, streamed from various apps like Netflix and Spotify and opened many apps including going through multi-tasks. In such use, the device does not heat up directly. That’s a good sign. Still, it started to feel like a time delay and microlag started to happen. The animation transitions also feel slow and provide a slightly frustrating user experience.

Here once again proves that Samsung is not very expert in operating system optimization. Just imagine, another Snapdragon 845 -powered Android gadget – i.e. the same chip used in 2018 – is even better. Here is not only Samsung’s weakness in the optimization part, but also confirms that the Exynos chip is not as powerful as the Snapdragon chip.

Chip

Enough with the explanation on the processing chip, we turn to the camera. On paper, the camera specs are close to the usual Galaxy Note 10, however the lens used is a little different. The Note 10 Lite uses a tri-camera setting of a 12MP f/1.7 (main) + 12MP f/2.4 (telephoto) 12MP f/2.2 (u-angle) lens.

For a selfie camera it is also much less, i.e. 32MP f/2.2. I will explain about the quality of the camera in a moment. Before that, let’s take a look first at what Samsung has to offer for connection ports. The device has NFC support for Samsung Pay cashless payments, uses a USB-C port, maintains a 3.5mm audio jack port and uses only mono speakers.

Design

Samsung’s sacrifice to make a Galaxy Note device more affordable is in terms of its building materials. On the Galaxy Note 10 Lite, only from a distance it looks like a premium device. On the other hand, when on hand – it feels very cheap. Dare I say that the Galaxy Note 10 Lite is a Galaxy A device with an interior from the Galaxy Note 9 and a camera similar to the Galaxy Note 10.

Galaxy A71 Operating System

Galaxy A71 Operating System

For the Galaxy A71 operating system, OneUI 2.0 on this device is just the same as any other Samsung gadget. Only in the Galaxy A series, this is the coolest and has no performance issues like other models.

We have made a special video of the update done to the operating system that they have updated, and here it can confirm almost the same experience only, you can see the changes in the Device Care section which is more friendly to use, there is the use of graphs to tell the status and details of battery usage. Not only that, there are also several functions that are combined and some are already separated so that it is easy for users to find something more specific settings.

The interface design is more neat, beautiful and easy to use. One UI 2.0 is user-friendly, especially one-handed use. My favorite feature is the dark theme mode which actually uses a Super AMOLED screen, so the dark theme also has a pretty dark black color.

A little disappointing is its full gesture control. It uses Android 10’s full gesture control, which is a bit similar to iOS gesture control on the iPhone X and above. Still, it feels a bit time consuming and sometimes doesn’t work. Scrolling to the home screen, it’s easier to open Samsung Pay by accident.

Battery Life

We took a few days as well to make sure the device gave an accurate reading for battery life. Thankfully and we are very relieved; to report that the battery life of the galaxy A71 is capable of reaching SOT of up to 7 hours. SOT as high as this is with extreme uses like doing some benchmark tests; taking frequent pictures, and some light uses like streaming video and using various social media apps.

Premium Samsung Galaxy A71

Premium Samsung Galaxy A71

It’s already Samsung’s identity for acah-acah to have premium Samsung Galaxy A71 building materials on their mid-range devices. That’s what they did on the Galaxy A71 with the Glasstic building material i.e. glass and plastic combined to form one new material. Distinguishing A71 and A51 is that the colors on the A71 are more liquid and brighter.

Location

At the back is also the location of the camera module which does not have a thick bulge. When placed on a flat surface feels flat.

The design of this device is a modern design and will be in line with Samsung’s flagship gadget this year, such as the Galaxy S20 which will be launched next month. Although the Galaxy A51 has a “premium” construction material, it still tastes good when held. It is a lightweight device, so hands are not sluggish when using this device for a long time. This device despite having a large screen size, it is not very thick and comfortable only in the hand.

Realme GT Master Good Elements

Realme GT Master Good Elements

With a combination of several Realme GT Master good elements such as a unique timer comfortable in hand, good screen, satisfactory 120Hz support, stable internal software and capable performance. It is no exaggeration to say that this smartphone is quite attractive to own. The camera capabilities are also good where there are various filters and interesting functions that can be tried. But, it is actually not the main focus on this smartphone.

The disadvantage lies in the relatively small 4,300mAh battery capacity. Guess, it is better if the Realme uses at least a battery with a capacity of 5000mAh. However, Realme is clever in covering the ‘hole’ of the deficiency by including other supports such as fast charging along with it.

Shorcoming

Then, another shortcoming is the lack of waterproof rating feature – it is one of the important features at this time in addition to the weather in Malaysia is often unpredictable. The rainy season that sometimes we ourselves cannot anticipate. Next, mono speakers are also another of the most notable shortcomings to it. Meanwhile, there are already many nearby competitors who are able to provide stereo speakers on their smartphones.

Realme GT Master Smartphone

Personally, the overall use of the Realme GT Master smartphone has not posed any problems as far as this review article is written. It feels good and is able to operate smoothly for all daily tasks. Where the process of opening and changing applications as well as animation transitions feels just fine. Thus, it makes daily tasks able to remain efficient without many problems or major issues.

In addition, there is also a special mode called as GT Mode which is suitable to be used for a better gaming experience. Where, it uses maximum CPU and GPU performance for the experience

which is pretty good. Apart from that, it also has a vibrating haptic response system which is also good in our view.

Next move to the Realme mobile game settings (first), the original graphics setting for the PUBG Mobile game is in HD with a High frame rate. It can also still reach Extreme frame rates when played on Smooth graphics. Furthermore, it is also possible to achieve Ultra frame rates for the highest HDR graphics settings.

PUBG Game Default Settings

For COD Mobile, the default setting is Very High with High graphics. This frame rate can also reach Max but the highest graphics setting is as high as High. Then, when it is played with Very High graphics, the highest frame rate is also at the Very High setting only.

COD Game Default Settings

The next game which is Mobile Legend Bang Bang (MLBB) can be played reaching High graphics. Finally, the Genshin Impact game is originally set to low with a 30 fps mode. Just playing for fun is not a problem. But, of course there is no hope for more than that.

Other than that, we also don’t face extreme issues for outdoor use. The brightness level on this smartphone is quite good to ensure the content on the screen is comfortable to view. Then, the screen is also complete with a high refresh rate of 120Hz. The scrolling experience was pretty smooth and fun in our view. But, of course the 120Hz screen will use a lot of battery gadget.

Realme GT Master Edition

Realme GT Master Edition

Realme has come up with several new offerings under the Realme GT Master Edition collection and one of them is the Realme GT Master Edition. As many know, smartphones under this series often feature attractive finishes inspired from everyday items in our lives. Not only that, it also received a touch of contemporary style from the famous Japanese designer, Nauto Fukusawa.

For this time, Realme and Fukusawa are seen taking inspiration from their suitcases. He said, it is specially created to cure your longing to travel. Furthermore, the tourism sector is now unable to operate rapidly in the wake of the pandemic that has had a profound effect on it. With such a concept, it is at least able to cure longing while waiting for the situation to return to normal.

Well, no need for a lengthy preface. Going back to the original purpose of this article for which we will share the full review for the Realme GT Master Edition. What is the point of interest in it? What are the significant shortcomings that you need to know? Is it an attractive smartphone, or is it just an external factor that looks beautiful? Keep reading to find out more. This phone just feels like a very premium phone that you can only get for super expensive price.

Shape

For starters, let’s talk about its design aspects first. The Realme GT Master Edition we received is Voyager Gray. What’s unique, it uses a gray Vegan leather finish on the back panel. This means, it is able to provide good comfort despite being held for a long time. Not only that, the grip on it also feels really good. Most importantly, such a finish is actually able to reduce the effects of dirt on this Realme gadget itself

Nova 8 Night Mode

Nova 8 Night Mode

Nova 8 Night mode is one of the things that Huawei should improve on middle -class devices. If other devices can do it, what is Huawei’s reason? Although the noise effect is not very visible, but the post-process softens the picture result and makes the result not very good with a slight orange or sometimes too bluish color. What’s great is, the night mode of this device doesn’t just increase the brightness level.

The video recording of the Nova 8 device is still the same as it used to be. Any Huawei device in the same category will have not-so-good quality. The color profile is interesting, but if you look closely it has a slight snagging effect. Most interesting is, the video recording of this device’s selfie camera and its microphone are of high quality. So for use when working from home and teleconferencing sessions, this device is able to handle smoothly and great.

Audio

A middle class gadget like this should already have a magnifier and stereo sound. Unfortunately, it only offers mono speakers. Yes, the quality is good – but if not balanced it’s a bit weird. Throughout my use, I used TWS alone a lot. One good thing about using a device without GMS is, a music streaming app that doesn’t require a license like DRM. Tidal, Apple Music, etc. can be used on the device very well.

One drawback that this device lacks other than stereo audio is the latest Hi Histen system from Huawei available on the MatePad 11. Harmony OS 2.0 on their tablet has support for spatial or surround audio mimicry no matter what audio accessory is used. If that feature is available on this device, it will definitely hook you all.

Thanks for reading this all about gadget article that is titled “Nova 8 Night Mode”

Huawei Nova 8 Change

Huawei Nova 8 Change

Existing Huawei users will be happy with this Huawei Nova 8 change, as it is very comfortable to use as well as convenient. The settings are not so confusing and more organized as well as with the icon design and good use of colors – it gives a soothing feeling.

Although the initial performance is not very smooth, the overall performance of this device is very good. Time lag problems only happen occasionally and it is standard for such a device. While there is no GMS, the device can be used as usual without any problems – if you can trust the favorite Petal Search app that sometimes displays results from suspicious sources.

Best Thing

There are two things I love most about this device. First the use of Petal Maps is getting better; and there is little experience as if using a map from Apple. Although the name of the location is sometimes not very accurate; and some are misspelled, the intricate instructions in a voice; as if this robot is still able to show the right path.

The second is Celia which mean still with the Malay language. It can listen to my instructions well and quickly and do those instructions very accurately. With the Celia progressing, it’s no surprise that Huawei is ready to bring in more devices. Celia’s voice still needs to be fixed; as it reminds me of Siri’s voice of a bygone era – that of a robot trying to mimic humans.

Since this is a Huawei gadget, functions such as Smart Collaboration are also supported for fast connection and tethering between all their products. I’m currently using the Huawei FreeBuds 4i and MatePad 11 and believe it or not, I’m pretty excited about the way it tracks all the devices and accessories as well as how fast it connects. Oh yes, this article is also written on Huawei laptops; and the file drag and drop function is also very well supported.
